SHIPPING CHARGES

Within Toronto, Durham, Peel and York, all orders will be charged 4% of the product total for freight. All other orders will be billed at 10% for resources, and 13% for Furniture and Equipment. A minimum shipping charge of $15 applies to all orders less than $150.

For orders over $2,500 please call our customer service department for a freight quote, which may be less than our advertised rate.

Freight carriers deliver only to the front or back door of your institution. If you require goods delivered to a classroom, or if your destination is difficult to access, such as on the second floor, please notify Customer Service at the time you place the order. There may be a small surcharge levied by the carrier, particularly if the shipment contains furniture or equipment. We will be glad to provide a quote for your approval.

All freight charges beyond Provincial forwarding points are the responsibility of the customer. Please call for a freight quote.

From time to time, we may ship an item directly from the manufacturer. Freight will be billed at the normal rate in this event.

When gas prices rise some carriers levee a “gas surcharge”. We reserve the right to add this cost to your invoice, but will only do so if it is absolutely necessary.



BACK ORDERS

We pay the freight charges on all back-orders as far as each provincial forwarding point. We will typically cancel back-orders valued at $15 or less, or where we cannot guarantee delivery due to discontinuation by manufacturer.


DAMAGES & SHORTAGES

Shortages will be corrected immediately upon your telephone call. If you receive a box that looks damaged, please write "POSSIBLE HIDDEN DAMAGE" on the freight bill before signing. In both cases, please call us as soon as you can and provide your customer and order numbers (from the packing slip).


TAXES

Prices on this website do not include any federal or provincial taxes. These taxes will be added to your invoice at the appropriate rate. All items in this website are subject to GST (or HST), and PST in Ontario, British Columbia and Quebec. If your institution is exempt from GST or HST you must submit an exemption certificate via fax or mail with your order.


WARRANTIES

Warranties cover structural damage under normal use. This does not include damage to the finish of the item. Proof of purchase is required.
